Elysium is perfectly located to take advantage of all the north has to offer. It is situated on the northern tip of the island, in the sun-blessed resort of Pereybere, a sleepy spot perfect for families and young couples alike, dotted with plenty of cafes, restaurants, cool bars, markets and shops
ACCOMMODATION : The rooms are all named after local Mauritian spices, Saffron, Elachi, Paprika, turmeric, Petite Anis, Zeroffe, Canelle and Star Anise. All rooms have been designed with your comfort in mind and have a warm and contemporary feel. The rooms have both King and Queens bedded rooms complete with orthopaedic mattresses, 100% cotton sheets, India handloom bedspreads. Twins Rollaway beds and cots are all upon request. Three bedrooms have large balconies (Paprika, turmeric and Canelle). All rooms have a view over the lush tropical gardens.
The verandah, decorated with linen fabrics, is perfect for unwinding; whether it’s for a nutritious breakfast, a quick bite at lunch or to enjoy a glass of wine before venturing out into Grand Bay.
HOTEL FACILITES : At Elysium, emphasis is put on the personal touch, when even the little things matter. Being an intimate property allows them to spend more time with you, from booking Island tours, hiring cars to explore the island, to recommending the best restaurants to dine in. Elysium will ensure that the moment you arrive, your stay is both stress-free and memorable experience.
BREAKFAST & DINING : A selection of breakfasts (including a wide variety of freshly squeezed juices, freshly baled pastries, selection of Coffees will also be available, with the option of light refreshments during the day.
In preparing the Elysium breakfasts they only use fresh produce and all their juices are hand squeezed from local fruit. Should any of the guests have special dietary requirements the staff will be delighted to accommodate these. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served daily on the verandah from 8.00am till 10.30 am.
No dining facilities are offered at Elysium, however there are an abundance restaurants within walking distance. The staff will happily reserve your tables and also book you a taxi.
Guests will also benefit from the elegant pool, perfect for spending lazy days on our unique sun-loungers, or just a few minutes walk away (100 meters) from a handful of the islands most impressive beaches.
